 G Choir

Code of Conduct & Dress Code

G Choir is composed of people of diverse ages and backgrounds that seek to celebrate the Christian Faith through gospel music.

G Choir Vision Statement

“To share the message of The Gospel through gospel music/song and to uplift the choir members and its audiences through the message of The Gospel (The Bible) and its Good News. To share the love of Jesus Christ through our gifts and to glorify God at every opportunity.”

Introduction

The purpose of the code of conduct is to promote and strengthen the good reputation of our G Choir community by establishing standards of performance and behaviour for choir members. In addition it seeks to encourage conduct that would have a positive effect on the standing and reputation of G Choir and our partner church, Revive.

Respect of our principles and vision

We ask all choir members to abide by and respect the principles reflected in the following bible verses:

Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.

  Philippians 1:27

Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

  Colossians 4:5-6

I am writing these things to you, hoping to come to you before long; but in case I am delayed, I write so that you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and support of the truth.

  1 Timothy 3:14-15
