"We have two rehearsal sessions happening every month in our Hull location. We're all about inclusivity and making you feel uplifted after every session! It doesn't matter if you're 16 or 70, male or female, faith/no faith, you call Yorkshire or North or NE Lincolnshire home, you're totally welcome in our gospel choir.

 

Now, let's talk about our setup. We've got some seriously awesome vocal resources that any singer would drool over, with everything you need to boost and improve your vocal skills.

 

Our leadership team are a bunch of pros, both singers and musicians, they are great fun and they will help you shine. And yes, you might have seen them on TV!

 

We don't just sing locally; we take our show on the road, there's always a chance to perform, whether it's at a local events, or even at a footy match. We also raise money for charity and sometimes work with our sister choir All For One Choir.

 

Now, here's the best part: We're open to everyone, whether you're a pro or just love to belt out tunes in the shower.

Joining Hot Gospel is like a soulful adventure. We're on the lookout for folks who love contemporary gospel music and can bring their own unique style and energy to our team. We push ourselves to be our best, but we also know how to have a good time, and the rewards are beyond awesome.

 

So, if you're a singer based in East Yorkshire or North or North East Lincolnshire and you're up for a new challenge, love singing your heart out, and want to be part of our crew, we want to hear from you!

 

Bonus: We've got fee-free places available for male tenors of all ages and under 25 years olds.

 

Now, what do we expect from you? It's pretty simple: Stay on pitch!

Show up to rehearsals we're a team, after all.

Be willing to practice at home using our home online tools.

Get into the groove we love some basic moves!

No need to be a gospel pro we'll teach you the ropes.

As long as you're 14 or older, you're good to go.

Don't stress about reading music it's not a must.

We've got all the tools to make you sing like a gospel singer. As twice BBC Songs of Praise finalists, we're here to help you grow your passion. You don't need to be a music sheet wizard, but having a good ear helps!

 

We get together for rehearsals every two weeks on Thursdays at 7.15 pm in Kingston Upon Hull.

 

Our members come from all over Yorkshire and Lincolnshire to hang out with us.
